Negotiable Permanent contract Full Time
PAYROLL AND HR ASSISTANT:
Ensure compliance in the day-to-day operation of human resources and payroll duties. Duties include but are not limited to the following areas: administration, organizational development, employment, employee relations, orientation and training benefits, payroll, compensation.
Responsibilities:
• Handle and process payroll transactions by adhering to company policies and procedures (end-to-end)
• Responsible for correct coding of all payroll cost - earnings, employee deductions, taxes
• Timekeeping (monitoring discrepancies in time entries)
• Monitoring, Reconciliation and Processing of Payments for SSS, Philhealth, HDMF, and BIR (Employee Taxes, Loans and Contributions)
• Coordination and submission of Documents to Government Institutions (SSS, Philhealth, HDMF & BIR)
• Coordination with partner bank for payroll account opening.
• Prepare various payroll reports as required (manhours, wage expense report, etc.)
• Using various techniques and methods to simplify the payroll process.
• Ensuring that all compensation practices comply with current legislation (DOLE)
• Work as support on staff procedure and policies and offer back up for other personnel in the human resources unit.
• Provide administrative support for General Office, Payroll and HR as needed.
• Perform other HR-related tasks as required by the HR Supervisor, Operations Manager and Managing Director
Skills and Qualifications:
• Candidate must possess at least a bachelor's degree in business or any related field.
• Preferably with at least 2 years of experience in Payroll Processing, Compensation and Benefits, Creation of Company Policy for Payroll and Timekeeping.
• Proven work experience in HR Information System, Philippine Payroll, Philippine Individual Income Tax, DOLE Compensation and Benefits policies and procedures.
• Excellent time management, planning and organizational skills, able to operate comfortably and effectively in a fast-paced environment with less supervision.
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Can work well with Microsoft Applications (MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint)
• Confidentiality and respect for the privacy of employee records
• Willing to work on site - Clark Freeport Zone Pampanga
