Excellent interpersonal and time management skills - liaison with onshore counterparts, internal and external stakeholders·
Apply payroll knowledge, knowledge of company policies and procedures and problem-solving skills to provide a quality response·
Highly motivated and honest, flexible, pro-active and driven, ability to multi-task, requires minimum supervision and adaptable to change at a fast-paced environment·
Analytical and accurate, organized; critical/analytical/problem solving skills are must-haves ·
Competent in Microsoft Office, basic MS Excel skills required; SAP ByDesign experience will be an edge
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE ARE AS FOLLOWS·
Principal contact for group companies in relation to payroll matters (new employees, terminations, part time hours for processing etc)·
Coordination of activities between businesses and existing external payroll services provider in relation to existing payroll processing on a weekly, fortnightly and monthly basis.·
Calculation of amounts owing on termination on an ad hoc basis as required by businesses·
Payroll tax and superannuation reconciliations·
Child support processing·
Assisting all levels of businesses with payroll enquiries whilst building strong relationships and educating on relevant systems and processes.·
Coordinate Workers' Compensation returns·
Ad Hoc HR administrative duties as and when required·
Ensure a high level of customer service is provided to all internal and external clients·
Assisting Finance team on queries and reports·
Contribute to the climate of active continuous improvement of processes, procedures and systems
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
The successful candidate should have a minimum 4 - 5 years' experience in payroll processing. Experience on processing AU or NZ payroll in a shared services environment and participation on process improvement projects in the past will be an advantage.
Must be willing to work on a 6:30am-3:30pm shift
