Job Purpose:
Responsible for overseeing payroll procedures including handling all aspects of the payroll calculations using our payroll software product, reviews payroll data and documents of our clients for inefficiencies and errors, checking whether all amounts are accurate based on hours worked and ensuring payroll reports are submitted on time. Responsibilities also include maintaining an efficient payroll system that ensures compliance with all compensations and tax regulations of the country. Serves as a consultant/SME to internal and external clients on payroll related issues. Must display excellent communication skills and have dedication to the services provided to the Clients. Also will communicate with Clients directly both written and oral and be responsible for the successful onboarding during implementation of new Clients and ongoing support.
Duties and Responsibilities
Perform Implementation processes including data gathering, parallel runs, coordination, and documentation of results.
Track client responses to ensure successful implementation.
Set up client company profiles (masterfile, payroll policies, balances, earnings, deductions) in the system.
Handle analytical payroll functions, account management, payroll verification, process documentation, and coordinate with team members for on-time payroll and statutory reporting.
Monitor and enforce client payroll and timekeeping policies.
Analyse and input client payroll information, supervise Payroll Assistant, and maintain accurate records.
Generate and review payroll registers, coordinate adjustments with clients, resolve discrepancies, and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
Investigate payroll concerns, post journal entries, conduct audits, and manage payroll projects.
Address employee payroll queries while maintaining confidentiality.
Improve payroll processes, suggest efficiencies, and ensure timely pay register submissions.
Handle other payroll-related tasks and ad hoc reporting.
Meet project deadlines, provide leadership to team members, and act as a subject matter expert.
Support Client onboarding, training, and implementation phases.
Analyse results of parallel runs and provide solutions or raise incident tickets.
Communicate effectively with clients during live issues, provide updates, and ensure timely resolution.
Maintain expertise in the payroll system and Philippine payroll laws.
Ensure data integrity and confidentiality, comply with regulations and security protocols.
Stay updated on payroll laws, prepare accurate tax filings, reports, and statutory requirements.
Analyse payroll data, identify trends, investigate errors, and propose solutions.
Collect, review, and process accurate payroll data from clients while adhering to policies.
Working Relationships
Collaborates with the SaaS Operations team, clients, and various departments within the organization, including the Finance team, Software Quality Assurance team, Product Development team, developers (engineers), and Project Managers.

Basic Qualifications (Education / Experience)
Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Business Administration, Management, or equivalent experience.
Proven 2 years' experience as a Payroll Analyst, Payroll Coordinator, or similar role.
Knowledge with tax annualization is required

Certificates are encouraged and a plus but not required.
