PAYROLL ANALYST (Project-Based)
Payroll Analyst will be responsible for calculating employee payments for Asurion associates. This position will ensure critical deadlines are met to distribute accurate and timely payments to employees. Maintains all forms with appropriate authorization required. Ensures all employee data is accurate.
Gross to net payroll calculation for biweekly payrolls with a high volume of employees. Process payroll checks via automated payroll system and the ability to calculate manually when needed. Verify, enter and audit documents submitted for payment. Enter adjustments and process corrections
Reconcile reports, and research issues for payroll earnings, deductions, taxes, leave balances, benefits and general ledger
Partner with internal partners on payroll related matters
Audits and follows up on data entered for completeness and accuracy
Evaluates, assesses and responds promptly to customer inquiries through ticketing system
Perform support type functions for internal payroll team members including tax filings, preparation for payroll activities, etc.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or any business related course
Minimum of 3 years of US or Canada payroll processing experience
Multi-state, high volume payroll experience preferred
Proficient with MS Office suite - particularly Excel
Familiarity with UltiPro, Kronos and Workday HR are pluses
Shared Service experience is required
Must be a team player
Must be detail oriented
Strong customer orientation with a strong sense of urgency when addressing payroll issues
Strong attention to detail and analytical abilities; strong organizational skills
Strong interpersonal and oral/written communications skills
Demonstrated ability to work independently and show initiative
