Key Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Payable Accounting Supervisor under the Payable Accounting Division, the successful candidate will be responsible in performing detailed and complex reviews of data and processes to ensure accuracy, integrity and timeliness of vendor payments. Reconciles various general ledger accounts relating to accounts payables.
Conducts detailed reviews of processes, invoices and check requests received by Head Office from contractors, consultants and vendors.
Ensures that rates billed are aligned with contracts and that reimbursable expenses are within limits and include appropriate supporting documents.
Reviews, monitors and ensures accurate payments and proper recording of validated claims in the books of accounts.
Completes necessary accrual work for each month/year-end to ensure all material liabilities of the company are properly reflected in its financial records.
Submits reports to management on a timely basis such as statistics on processed/pending Pos, RFPs, CALs and claims with deficiencies.
Verifies and provides status to various queries on vendor account balances, reconciliations and payments.
Verifies and prepares response to various IAD findings.
Requirements:
Bachelor of Science in Accountancy
Preferably Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
Knowledge in SAP
Three (3) years of relevant experience
Proficient in oral and written communications
Proactive and cooperative
Analytical/Critical Thinking
