Investing in Women
Investing in Women (IW) is a multi-country Australian Government initiative in Southeast Asia that seeks to improve women's economic participation as employees and as entrepreneurs and influence the enabling environment to promote Women's Economic Empowerment (WEE). It commenced in April 2016 with operations in the Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam and Myanmar and is due to run through to June 2023. It is managed out of the Gender Equality Branch (GEB) of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) in Canberra. The Program is supporting the following outcomes:
More businesses achieve improved gender equality in their workplaces
Intentional impact investments in women's small and medium enterprises (WSMEs) increase
Positive shifts in gender norms related to workplace gender equality

About the Opportunity
The Partnerships Officer (short-term personnel) will be a member of Investing in Women Program and will work closely with the Deputy Director of Pathway 3 (P3). The successful candidate will help P3 to realise the goal of positively shifting attitudes to women at work and in society. Specifically, the Partnerships Officer will:
Support the implementation of the Influencing Gender Norms Strategy through partnerships.
Liaise with Contracts on procurement needs, including but not limited to partners, subcontractors, translators and consultants .
Monitor and and coordinate partner and consultant payments and deliverables.
Proactively monitor partner compliance, performance, and risks, regularly reporting to the Deputy Director.
Ensure effective and efficient file management within P3.
Contribute to P3 inputs for IW reporting including Annual Plans and MEL reviews.
Coordinate logistics for P3-led events and travel.
Submit travel reports and reimbursement claims in a timely manner
The successful candidate will have flexibility between working from IW office in Makati City, Philippines (3 days per week) and from home. Engagement duration is from mid-January 2022 to June 2022. This is a citizen-role, but which is open to others who have the legal right to work in country.
About You
We are seeking an individual who bring or who possess:
Experience in project or account management and/or procurement;
Qualification in business administration or management or other relevant credentials;
Attention to detail and analytical skills;
Experience in budget monitoring;
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Excel;
Effective communication and documentation capabilities;
Understanding of and commitment to women's economic empowerment.
