Job Description
Job Summary:
The bookkeeper/accountant clerk will play a vital role within the company by maintaining financial records and assisting with the general operations of the finance department.
The accounting clerk will be supporting our Finance department with accounts payable and receivables as required.
Responsibilities:
Support accounting personnel.
Perform accounting and clerical functions to support supervisors.
Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
Analyzing financial records for accuracy.
Reconciling cash receipts, and deposits weekly & monthly.
Preparing reports on delinquent accounts and customer payment profiles weekly.
Prepares Accounts receivables and uploads it to Google drive every Wednesday of the week no later than 2pm PST.
Maintain a coherent system of accounts with a supporting filing system.
Qualifications
Requirements:
Certification by the American of Professional Bookkeepers, which necessitates a degree in Accountancy (or equivalent) and 3 years experience.
Working knowledge of generally accepted accounting procedures and principles (GAAP Accounting).
Experience with intuit QuickBooks Online
Comprehensive knowledge of Accounting procedures and principles.
Ethical behavior when dealing with sensitive financial information.
Additional Information
Working hours
Mondays to Fridays; 4 hours between 10:00PM - 7:00AM Manila Time
This position can be for full time in the future
Good internet connection with at least 10MBPS upload and download speed
