Main Purpose
The Overhead Analyst role is to deliver:
Operational excellence in Overhead month end close & reporting by ensuring integrity of the data
Tight control on Overhead spend including SC Overhead, Local Overhead, OTI, Restructuring and A&D reporting
Business partnering with the budget holders & functional leaders, to provide visibility & insights to drive actions
Working closely with offshore team: GCOPA, R2R & ETS to deliver in the highest standards in these areas
Proactive risk management and controls: making sure issues are identified & dealt with before/as they arise
Main accountabilities
Month end closing for Overhead lines (SC Overhead - Local Overhead - OTI - Restructuring - A&D)
Ensure correct cost reporting
Provide un-bias & accurate view of the forecast
Work together with & manage the offshore team performance: GCOPA, RTR & ETS
Business partnering with budget holders & functional leaders
Standard reports issued timely with insights to drive actions
Provide visibility & insights to drive actions
Highlight spend risk & cost savings opportunity
Escalate spend issues, particularly within ZBB range: T&E, Contractors & 3P Services
Hold budget holders accountable to forecast and budget
Annual budget setting
Provide insight to Business Unit Finance Teams on Overheads cost trends, risks and opportunities.
Master Data Maintenance on Cost Centre & cost allocations
Main point of contact for Regional/Global on ICC, LCC/GCL, FCCR
Continuous improvement in reporting process excellence & simplification, leveraging technology to automate key tasks.
Skills & qualifications
Essential:
Accounting/Finance degree, with achieved or working towards CPA/CA (or equivalent) qualification
Understanding of accounting standards
3+ years' experience in FMCG business or similar role
Working experience in business partnering
Strong accounting knowledge in both Management Reporting & Financial Reporting
Excellent communication skill, written & verbal
Self-motivated & able to work as a team
SAP knowledge
Desirable:
Drive proactive action through leadership and influence
Ability to drive process optimisation and simplification with a continuous improvement mindset
Strong planning and organization skills - to manage competing priorities
Working experience in managing offshore team
