Job Description
HSE Job
-Ensure safe working environment of the employees, compliance to labor laws and government regulatory agencies
Operational Excellence
-Conduct of technical review of the specification and design of new process safety and engineering controls based on Arkema standards
-Review of alignment of each site engineering control with Bostik/Arkema standards, industry best practices and recommends rectification should it be deemed necessary
Health, Safety & Environment(HSE)
-Proposal and implementation of improvements for HSE and process safety programs. Monitors and report progress of execution.
-Conduct safety audit, risks analyses and assist actively in the HSE initiatives.
Technical Support
-Conduct of technical review of the specifications and design of new process safety and engineering controls based on Arkema standards
-Alignment of Bostik PH sites engineering controls with Bostik/Arkema standards, industry best practices and recommends rectifications should it be deemed necessary
-Gathering of line data and information for technical analysis and recommendations
Government Regulations and Law Compliance
-Compliance of all government regulatory standards and laws mandated by DOLE, OSH, LLDA, BFP, PDEA, PNP, etc are complied
-Updating of DOLE, OSH, LLDA, BFP and other regulatory government agencies requirements to ensure alignment and compliance
Job Qualifications
Experience
On Technical
-At least minimum of three (3) years exposure on HSE platform in a chemical industry, skilled in computer operation such as: MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Project autocad
-At least with Basic Occupational, Safety & Health training
On Management/Supervision
-People management is a plus factor
On Project Management
-A plus factor
Education
-Bachelor's degree in any engineering discipline such us Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Chemistry
