Job Description
Qualifications:
Graduate of Bachelor of Science major in Computer Science, IT or other related fields
Has at least 4 years of related experience.
Capacity planning, installation, configuration, database design, migration, performance monitoring, security, troubleshooting, as well as backup and data recovery
Responsibilities: 
Capacity planning, installation, configuration, database design, migration, performance monitoring, security, troubleshooting, as well as backup and data recovery
Designs the database schema and creates necessary database objects and provides testing environment support for all supported databases
Prepares technical specifications on database requirements for application developers for new or enhanced systems
Performs all database migration and project cutover and implementation
Ensures compliance to defined database implementation methodologies
Ensure database security is implemented to safeguard the data
Work closely with application developers and system administrators to ensure all database needs are being met
Performs database preventive maintenance
Performs other job-related projects and tasks as may be assigned from time to time
