The Operations Specialist is responsible for sourcing and onboarding of 3PLs, representing Connected Freight on the Order-to-Delivery Journey of clients, supporting business operations through customer standard operating procedures (SOPs), contract and group records management, data and information quality maintenance.
1. 3PL Screening, Onboarding and Tour Management
a. Sources for new and/or existing 3PLs based on the operational requirements from Sales Team
b. Collects and conducts initial evaluation for the requirements such as 3PLs information, regulatory documents (Business Permits, COR, SEC Registration) for new and existing 3PLs based on the Connected Freight's HSSE standards
c. Coordinates with the HSSE for Audit and other compliances
d. Negotiates to secure the least possible cost while maintaining the required standards from our 3PLs
e. Ensures healthy pipeline of 3PLs to support the anticipated business growth
g. Checks and assigns tour plans that would maximize the utilization of 3PLs in terms of capacity- SSO or MSO (Optimization Engine)
2. Customer Support and Dispute Management
a. Handles and resolves all inquiries received within the service level agreement
b. Escalates all necessary transactions that involve a higher tier decision-making and/or processing
c. Takes ownership for the end-to-end customer inquiry and troubleshooting which may require engaging other partners across the service chain
d. Proactively calls customers to manage Order-To-Delivery issues and Order-To-Delivery Schedule Support Service
e. Manages the end-to-end Dispute process for Quantity, Pricing, and Master Data Disputes. This includes logging of dispute, undertaking initial investigation and root cause analysis, liaising with key interfaces to resolve disputes.
f. Close the loop with Customer on case outcome and confirm closure of case
g. Identify and execute the correct process to provide resolution on the claim based on standard operating procedures
h. Provides frontline business, process, and technical support to customers for Connected Freight systems (i.e. Retail Kiosk, Supplier Interface, etc.)
3. Information and Data Management
a. Supports on all controls and compliance focus area crucial to business license to operate and process.
b. Maintains quality customer data and information
4. Other tasks which may be assigned.
Requirements
Level of Education: Associate or Bachelor's Degree
Field of Study: Degree in a business discipline or relevant education and work experience preferably in Logistics Sector
Work Experience:
At least 2-3 years of similar work experience in a logistics company
Should have a very good understanding on Logistics (Shipping, Freight Forwarding, Warehousing & Distribution, Freight Management & Supply Chain, Port Operations) Dispatching and Documentation activities.
Must be familiar in Visayas/Mindanao area
Must have a motorcycle/car and has a valid Driver's license
Must be willing to travel around Visayas/Mindanao area from time to time
Can speak and understand Visayan/Mindanao dialect (Cebuano, Chavacano,etc.)
Can speak and understand Tagalog and English
