Primarily responsible for the timely and comprehensive completion of assigned engagements and for the efficient and effective implementation of audit strategies to achieve the audit objectives. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES As Operations and Financial Audit Officer, you shall: Collaborate with the Operations and Financial Audit Head to ensure successful and timely execution/completion of Audit Committee/Board-approved audit plan. Perform audit planning and prepare/revise/update the Audit Work Programs to ensure these remain relevant and aligned with existing policies and procedures and regulatory requirements. Completely execute the approved Audit Work Programs in an efficient and effective manner and based on approved audit methodology. You shall identify and/or add relevant audit procedures, as necessary, to attain the audit objectives. Prepare or draft accurate, clear, concise, reliable, complete, and timely audit reports. Ensure adherence to the Bank and Internal Audit's Policies and Procedures such as identifying relevant information, performing analysis and evaluation, and maintaining adequate working papers to support audit conclusions, among others. Regularly report to the Operations and Financial Audit Head the status of assigned engagements, and timely elevate or escalate critical matters or concerns to your immediate supervisor or to the Head of Internal Audit or Chief Audit Executive. Assist in the development of risk-based annual audit plan. Conduct exit conference with the auditee or audit client. Be accountable for the confidentiality, protection, and safeguarding of all information, data, or records acquired during the audit, or employment with the Bank, and ensure adherence to the Bank's Information Security Policy. Perform ad-hoc engagements and/or other tasks/duties as maybe assigned from time-to-time. JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS Education and Professional Certifications Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy or any business-related 4-year course. Must be a Certified Public Accountant or a Certified Internal Auditor, or have any equivalent professional certification/s such as Certified Information Systems Auditor, Certified Fraud Examiner, etc. Experience have at least three (3) years of relevant banking experience as an auditor-in charge, senior auditor, or audit manager. Technical Competencies ('Know-how') Have technical knowledge of information systems and related processes, be knowledgeable on relevant banking rules and regulations, internal auditing procedures and techniques, and an understanding of accounting principles and standards. Behavioral Competencies Possess all the qualifications and none of the disqualifications required of an Officer as set forth under existing regulations.
