The Ref Data Mgmt Analyst 2 is a developing professional role. Applies specialty area knowledge in monitoring, assessing, analyzing and/or evaluating processes and data. Identifies policy gaps and formulates policies. Interprets data and makes recommendations. Researches and interprets factual information. Identifies inconsistencies in data or results, defines business issues and formulates recommendations on policies, procedures or practices. Integrates established disciplinary knowledge within own specialty area with basic understanding of related industry practices. Good understanding of how the team interacts with others in accomplishing the objectives of the area. Develops working knowledge of industry practices and standards. Limited but direct impact on the business through the quality of the tasks/services provided. Impact of the job holder is restricted to own team.
Responsibilities:
Role sits within the AMC Data Remediation Team of the APAC Entity Data Management Team, whose responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:
Maintain the GFCID data in AMC
Identify, research, validate, set up, and maintain legal entity reference data in AMC (leveraging internal/external stakeholders and data sources) on central repositories/applications; typically data spans legal name verification, address, nature of business, ownership, etc.
Manage, supervise, and track issues related to assigned queue (GFCID / KYCp / MG/GP / AMC Accounts / LEID)
Act as the primary customer contact for issues relating to GFCID / KYCp / MG/GP / AMC Accounts / LEID requests
Assist in ad hoc requests and special projects
Conduct analysis to map front to back data flows and provide subject matter expertise, providing input to project requirements to drive business, functional and/or system/platform changes
Perform quality reviews/refresh of client reference data and our supporting processes/procedures
Work with the team to ensure continuous process improvement
Ensure compliance and adherence to set processing standards and controls
Qualifications:
2-5 years relevant experience in reference data or client-onboarding
Experience in working with internal and external data sources to conduct due diligence (Bankers Almanac, Dun & Bradstreet, SWIFT etc.) (not essential but useful)
Experience of having worked in a banking environment (not essential but useful)
Proficient Microsoft skills: Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and SharePoint
Comfortable working with large quantities of data
