The Ref Data Mgmt Analyst 1 is a trainee professional role. Requires a good knowledge of the range of processes, procedures and systems to be used in carrying out assigned tasks and a basic understanding of the underlying concepts and principles upon which the job is based. Good understanding of how the team interacts with others in accomplishing the objectives of the area. Makes evaluative judgements based on the analysis of factual information. They are expected to resolve problems by identifying and selecting solutions through the application of acquired technical experience and will be guided by precedents. Must be able to exchange information in a concise and logical way as well as be sensitive to audience diversity. Limited but direct impact on the business through the quality of the tasks/services provided. Impact of the job holder is restricted to own job.
Responsibilities:
Role sits within the AMC Data Remediation Team of the APAC Entity Data Management Team, whose responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:
Maintain the GFCID data, specifically the regulatory data, LEID data, and markets-related data in AMC.
Identify, research, validate, set up, and maintain legal entity reference data in AMC (leveraging internal/external stakeholders and data sources) on central repositories/applications; legal entity data forms an integral component of Credit Risk exposure; typically data spans legal name verification, address, nature of business, ownership, etc.
Perform quality reviews/refresh of client reference data and our supporting processes/procedures
Work with the team to ensure continuous process improvement
Ensure compliance and adherence to set processing standards and controls
Qualifications:
Flexibility
Problem-solving initiative
Motivated individual and Customer-focused
A business related degree would be advantageous, however less relevant than extensive 'in situ' experience
Experience working to deadlines.
Strong Microsoft skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access
Ability to perform reviews or processes and identify issues/gaps.
Have experience of/desire to work in a fast paced, metrics and deadline oriented department
Experience with working with a large, global organization.
Understanding of Citi's internal policies and processes and the ability to quickly identify areas of weakness.
Education:
Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience
