Citi's Software Asset Management (SAM) Team is looking for a highly motivated, self-driven and passionate team member to fill an Officer position (Infrastructure Analyst). This developing professional role deals with most problems independently and has some latitude to solve complex problems. Applies analytical thinking and knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologies. Requires attention to detail when making judgments and recommendations based on the analysis of information. Typically deals with variable issues with potentially broader business impact. Applies professional judgment when interpreting data and results. Breaks down information in a systematic and communicable manner. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required to exchange potentially complex/sensitive information. Moderate but direct impact through close contact with the businesses' core activities. Quality and timeliness of service provided will affect the effectiveness of own team and other closely related teams.
Responsibilities of Software Asset Management Infrastructure Analyst:
Assist in managing, tracking, and optimizing large-scale vendor products under the managed portfolio.
Work closely with other members of the SAM team, Procurement, Sector Finance, and Internal Customers to submit Purchase Orders in Procure to Pay (P2P) system
Interpret and codify software contract terms and entitlements
Assist in vendor management and audit response activities with analysis driven strategy
Analyze and summarize install, purchase, and demand data to seize cost-saving opportunities
Perform reporting of license metrics and spend patterns to brief stakeholders
Coordinate and assist in proactively managing Vendor agreement expirations to ensure renewals and terminations are done well in advance of renewal dates or deadlines
Qualifications and Key Success Skills:
1-5 years of experience in a technology planning role or other relevant/equivalent experience
Experience in data analysis with advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills (especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word); SharePoint (Doc libraries, lists etc.), Visio, Oracle P2P system, SAP eSourcing, HP Asset Manager, SAM related tools
Exceptional interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills
Strong and concise written and verbal communication
Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines and approach work methodically with accuracy and attention to detail
Problem solver with the ability to encourage others in collaborative problem solving
Conceptual knowledge of Information Technology and experience interpreting licensing terms and conditions
Some knowledge of Asset Management and Discovery Tools
