Job Description:
The Fin Solutions Junior. Analyst is a young & dynamic professional role. Deals with most problems independently as per standard process instructions for the job, and is able to understand FRSS processes and how the same is integrated with larger Controller business and aligned functions. Applies analytical thinking, attention to detail when making judgments and recommendations based on the analysis of factual information. Breaks down information in a systematic and communicable manner. Decent basic verbal and written communication skills are required in order to perform assigned tasks and communicate with stakeholders. Moderate direct/ indirect impact through close contact with the businesses' core activities. Quality and timeliness of service provided will affect the effectiveness of own team and other closely related teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for assigned activities of Execution Delivery team encompassing and not limited to; Infrastructure and business management tasks for FRSS center and S&E&R team Participate in daily/ weekly/ monthly team meetings and provide ideas/ status on assigned job/ tasks
Independently performs assigned tasks by applying judgement and escalate issues/ challenges
Partners with manager/ lead on achieving Pillar goals/ priorities and completes tasks within deadline
Accountable for regular reporting or process administration as owner
Completes any ad-hoc business deliverables as assigned by manager/ lead
Participates in firm wide mandatory trainings, adheres to code of conduct at all times, deals with all stakeholders in professional manner
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years of experience in Finance/ Banking/ Operations domain
Proficiency in English language, working knowledge of MS Office suite of applications
Detail oriented, agile, flexible to work in shifts and as business requirement
Has working knowledge/ awareness of industry practices and standards
