The RMO Analytics Jr Analyst is a trainee professional role. Requires a good knowledge of the range of processes, procedures and systems to be used in carrying out assigned tasks and a basic understanding of the underlying concepts and principles upon which the job is based. Good understanding of how the team interacts with others in accomplishing the objectives of the area. Makes evaluative judgements based on the analysis of factual information. They are expected to resolve problems by identifying and selecting solutions through the application of acquired technical experience and will be guided by precedents. Must be able to exchange information in a concise and logical way as well as be sensitive to audience diversity. Limited but direct impact on the business through the quality of the tasks/services provided. Impact of the job holder is restricted to own job.
Responsibilities:
Update and distribute dashboards/templates with latest data covering various RMO functions
Run existing excel macros / R program scripts to consolidate and prepare data for dashboard update
Support continuous improvement/optimization efforts of existing processes and procedures
Make evaluative judgments based on analysis of factual information
Communicate with diverse audiences through the exchange of information in a concise and logical manner.
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
0-2 plus years of professional, diverse experience across the finance industry, functions, and businesses
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills
Willing to learn new tools, program languages, applications
Knowledge in SQL, R, Tableau, Power BI not required, but is a plus
Demonstrated professional ethics and integrity in carrying out responsibilities to clients, peers, and franchise
Education:
Business Administration degree or similar (Operations Management, Management Sciences, Industrial / Engineering Management, Technology and Management) and/or Data Analytics qualifications or its equivalent
Finance/Accountancy qualification and/or Master's Degree a plus

RMO oversees end to end supply chain operations through strategic sourcing and Supplier Management, supplier Risk Management and operations including purchase processing and payables.
RMO Global Analytics team is responsible to partner with different RMO functions and stakeholders to design, develop and deliver full range of powerful information to support senior leadership and businesses understand, identify and monitor key risk areas and drive best practice in third party supplier spend, non-employee staffing. Through metrics reporting and analysis, the team provides end-to-end view across supplier risk, sourcing and payables to highlight spend trends, supplier relationship profiles, consolidation/rationalization opportunities and diversity spend.
