ABOUT THE ROLE
TAXATION & COMPLIANCE
● Prepare Financial Statements, including relevant accounting schedules
● Prepare Income Tax Returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships and trust
● Prepare Capital Gain Tax calculations for review and advisory to clients
● Prepare Fringe Benefit Tax calculations for review and advisory to clients
● Bookkeeping
IRD CORRESPONDENCE
● Liaise with IRD agents regarding client concerns
● Prepare IRD applications, such as NZBN, IRDN, GST and PAYE
● Payroll
ABOUT THE QUALIFICATIONS
● At least three (4) years of experience in New Zealand Accounting & Taxation
● Degree in Bachelor of Science in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field
● CA or CPA qualification is a must
● Experience across multiple stacks
● Professional command in the English language, both written and verbal
● Strong customer service orientation
● Tech Stack:
○ XERO
