The team you'll be part of
Our Business Group is a leader in wireless mobility networks and associated services. With more than 3.500 patent families essential for 5G we have a strong 5G portfolio and are a front runner in open and virtualized radio access networks (O-RAN and vRAN).
What you will learn and contribute to
Main focus is Radio design and capacity management for 2G/4G and 5G
Collaborate and support Sales and solution team in formulating and justifying recommended solution for network and end-user experience
Perform traffic profiling and analysis aim to determine congestion and resolution
Support network Insight analysis and case investigation
Perform dimensioning calculation to address any capacity assessment or capacity requirement for immediate solutioning and long term planning.
Identify site and hardware requirement based on current data and forecast from the customer
Support in preparation of Low Level design (LLD) together with the solution team
Nominate Pilot site/cluster and perform capacity assessment for new solution or in the network
Able to perform Nominal planning by means of site nomination through capacity requirement and/or coverage requirement
Able to perform link budget calculation and analysis, has understanding on radio propagation and coverage prediction
Able to perform Frequency, BSIC planning for GSM and PCI planning for LTE
Able to support RF data file preparation and generation
Able to conduct technical RF site survey and target area analysis for In-Building and/or Macro solution
Able to use spectrum monitoring tools and perform interference hunting and triangulation
Support and work together with the different technical domain in any case investigation that requires RF planning or capacity assessment
Provide the customer requirement on time and with a quality output
Your skills and experience
You have:
Bachelor's degree in Telecommunication or any related filed
7+ years of overall wireless experience either from operator and/or service provider
5+ years of hands-on experience as part of RF planning and engineering group
Advance level understanding on GSM and LTE planning and capacity management
Good level of understanding radio performance and optimization activity
Experience in Nokia process, parameter and equipment is recommended
Knowledge in marco and script generation to improve the data processing is an advantage
Team player, responsible and requires minimal supervision
Basic knowledge of 5G
