Position Description:
The NOC Technician role is a 24x7x356 mid-level role that includes processing and initial triage of support issues for Nuspire clients. Technicians are escalated tickets from entry-level agents for a more comprehensive diagnosis, troubleshooting and configuration of issues. Technicians also begin focusing on subjects to become escalation points for specific technologies or services within the team. Technicians are capable of handling most requests for Nuspire
offered products and services with exceptions for advanced configurations, features and analysis.
Responsibilities:
Process calls/emails/portal created tickets
Perform initial triage on break/fix issues from clients
Configuration and troubleshooting of Nuspire managed products and services
Process and remediate NOC connectivity and availability alerts for all clients
Document all actions in cases to effectively communicate information internally and to client
Run and understand NuSIEM Reports
Submit appropriate bug, support and feature requests
Attend relevant meetings and take notes as needed
Follow appropriate triage processes to escalate issues if necessary
Perform analysis on network events thru SIEM research
End-user Support User Portal and NuSIEM for all clients
Process and Escalate Nuspire Internal connectivity and availability alerts for program clients

Qualifications:
Candidate must possess at least a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate, Bachelor's/College Degree , Professional License (Passed Board/Bar/Professional License Exam), Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication) or equivalent.
At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
1-2 years experience Checkpoint Firewalls
Firewall/Security Appliance Configuration and troubleshooting
Understanding of the OSI model
IPv4/IPv6 Addressing and Subnetting
Understanding of UDP and TCP communication flow
Ability to use common networking tools (ping, nslookup, tracert, etc.) for troubleshooting
Networking ports and protocols
