We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced New York Style Pizza Chef to join our client's team in Makati, Philippines, for the opening of their new pizza store. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating authentic New York style pizzas and be capable of assisting with pre-opening tasks to ensure a successful launch.
 
Responsibilities:
Craft high-quality New York style pizzas according to our recipes and standards, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation.
Prepare pizza dough, sauces, and toppings from scratch using fresh ingredients.
Operate pizza ovens and other kitchen equipment efficiently and safely.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen area, including food storage and preparation areas.
Assist in inventory management and ordering of ingredients and supplies.
Collaborate with the management team to develop new menu items and specials.
Train and supervise kitchen staff to maintain quality and efficiency in pizza preparation.
Assist with pre-opening tasks such as menu development, kitchen setup, and staff training.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company policies at all times.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a pizza chef, preferably specializing in New York style pizzas.
Strong knowledge of pizza dough preparation, stretching, and baking techniques.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple orders simultaneously.
Excellent attention to detail and a passion for delivering exceptional food quality.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Experience in assisting with pre-opening activities is a plus.
Culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred but not required.
