NETWORK SOFTWARE ENGINEER
 
QUALIFICATIONS 
Bachelor’s Degree in a related study – Computer Science, Software Engineering 
Fresh graduate or less than 2 years’ experience in similar roles
Requires the following detail technical understanding
C, or C+, or C# language
JavaScript
Database programming – Postgres SQL, MySQL, Oracle
NodeJS
GOlang
Working knowledge of Unix, Linux, Alpine
DevOps system capability will be of advantage: Dockers, Kubernetes 
Hardware and Software system including Linux, Unix, Ubuntu, Mac, Git
Integrated development Environments: Visual Studio, Webstorms, ATOM
Additional requirements (optional)
Understanding network elements based in IP, TCP/IP and candidates with initial qualifications of Cisco (CCNA, CCIE) will be of advantage.
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS (TO BE SUBMITTED WITH RESUME)
All Final Year project for College must be presented and must be relevant to the requirements of this Job Description.

All candidates must provide a proof of having worked or develop a software product, service or App based on the above requirements and must also be open to sharing the software codes for evaluation – this is a mandatory requirement for the evaluation of qualified candidates.
 
TEAM ENVIRONMENT  
 
In this role you will work with an assigned Team Leader for the company and be part of a new and exciting team being formed in GSAT. Compensation shall commensurate with the market rates but also be evaluated based on the capability & capacity of the candidate.
 
Role and Office will be based in GSAT Headquarters, Legaspi Village, Makati.
