The Network Assessment Team is looking to add one additional engineer to the group. The vision for this role is to identify any problems preventing a prospect's network from utilizing the Five9 application(s) while providing simple recommendations to resolve any identified issues. Key Responsibilities Ensure the prospect's network, internet access and hardware meet the Five9 minimum requirements as outlined in the Five9 Technical Requirements. Educate the customer on the technical requirements and QoS recommendations. Identify potential problems in connectivity to the Five9 prior to starting implementation or with live calls. Deliver a clear understanding of the NAT results to the customer/prospect Document the prospects network/connectivity to Five9 via Workbook Validate functionality by completing test calls with the prospect. Do this with minimal impact on the sales process by having sales engage the NAT team early in the sales cycle. Qualifications Understanding LAN and WAN components such as routers, hubs, switches, and monitors Experience and Understanding with PBX, TCP/IP, PC LAN networks, and other application processor equipment Must have a good understanding of various communications protocols including Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) Must have a good understanding of IP addressing and Quality of Service and be able to effectively communicate it to others. Must have a good understanding of network analysis and the use of the tools. Expertise with Windows, Word, Excel, Visio, project management software and other applications software. Must be an independent self-starter possessing excellent time management skills Willing to work a night shift schedule Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English) Strong analytical and problem solving skills Ability to operate with minimal guidance must be able exercise sound judgment and decision making in challenging situations Bachelor's degree or higher from a reputable institution or the equivalent in relevant work experience Minimum of a MCP or CCNA (Unless 2 years work experience in a network engineer role)
