Job Description:
Job purpose
Multimedia Artist (Analyst) combines marketing acumen and graphic design to develop visually-engaging materials that will help create and sustain the Company's desired image.
Multimedia Artist also collaborates with other units to develop materials, balancing creative flair with brand compliance for rendition in multiple platforms.
This position reports to the Creative Services Manager.
Major accountabilities
Conceptualize and design various marketing materials or visual elements that are in high quality in terms of aesthetic and usability for the company's various social media accounts - 35%
Conceptualize, design, and transform scripts and visualizations into fluid, highly effective, and entertaining videos both for internal and external audiences - 35%
Conceptualize and design various UI/UX materials for Marketing's (customer experience) CX projects - 20%
Act as the secondary photographer/videographer for Marketing's events/activities - 10%
Specialized knowledge
- Must be educated in graphic design. A bachelor's degree in this field is required
- Demonstrate above-average design communication skill with the ability to translate technical information into materials that set the brand apart from other players.
- Design software mastery, both for motion and stills
- Experienced in designing across all platforms (web, social media, digital, print, OOH)
- Adaptive to emerging trends and technologies
Problem solving
- Creative, detail-oriented (including skill in proofreading) and self-starter
- Must understand target markets and develop custom-strategies to engage them
- A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to turn visualizations into impactful designs
- Team player with highly effective interpersonal skills
- With planning and coordination skills
Education and experience
Knowledge of design software for photo editing, and audio-visual productions for different multi-media use. (Adobe Creative Suite and the likes)
Can work both in Mac and PC OS.
Work experience in the field, minimum of 2-3 years
Communication scope
Collaborate with the Creatives team for individual or team projects for brand-compliant concerns
Collaborate with the assigned business units for any brand-related development/changes or discussions
Collaborate with other business units for additional/special projects
Coordinate with 3rd party vendors for outsource projects if needed
