mid QA TesterBCS Technology

The QA Tester is responsible for creating an end to-end test plan; executing the
plan and managing all activities in the plan to ensure that all the objectives are met and that the
solution works as expected. The solution should be tested in terms of functionality,
performance, reliability, stability and compatibility with other legacy- and / or external systems.
To make sure that testing is well-defined, planned and executed. The QA Tester does this by
ensuring that every phase and feature of the software solution is tested and that any potential
issue is identified and fixed before the product goes live.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
-Validate sites and systems to ensure they meet client requirements and specifications
-Perform testing and verification for websites, mobile applications, background services, and web
-services
-Review functional and design specifications to ensure full understanding of individual
-deliverables.
-Identify test requirements from specifications, map test case requirements and design test
-coverage plan.
-Develop, document and maintain functional test cases and other test artifacts like the test data,
-data validation, harness scripts and automated scripts.
-Execute and evaluate manual or automated test cases and report test results.
-Hold and facilitate test plan/case reviews with cross functional team members.
-Identify any potential quality issues per defined process and escalate potential quality issues immediately to management.
-Ensure that validated deliverables meet functional and design specifications and requirements
-Isolate, replicate, and report defects and verify defect fixes.
-Will support big aviation projects
Requirements
-Strong Knowledge of Manual/Automation Test Practice (Functional/Non-functional)
-Experienced in both Agile and Waterfall software development method
-Pro-active. Versatile. Fast learner. Ability to quickly grasp Tools, Requirements, and Expected results (Acceptance Criteria)
-Good time management skills
