Chimera Enterprises International is seeking a Mid-Level Requirements Analyst to support the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA).
Job Description:
Overview
Analyzes business operations, requirements, needs, and goals; and identifies and implements new policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and improve operations.
Consults management and leaders for operational effectiveness, and advises methods to mitigate risk and ensure compliance with regulations.
Identifies business risks and root causes of business challenges, and translates them into process or technical solutions; identifies opportunities for improved operational performance; and guides management to make informed transformation driven decisions.
Provides recommendations on business process improvements and best practices, how to achieve long-term growth, reduce operational cost, and/or support business objectives and processes.
Typical Functions
Facilitates gathering of requirements, design sessions focusing on identification of business requirements, and business process discovery and development of initiatives and plans to achieve business goals.
Contributes to development of a business plan to meet customer needs and company goals; and assists in development of project plans and schedules to achieve project goals.
Works with teams to implement processes and technology that supports business values and process efficiency across business and technical functions.
Coaches operations team on business operations and problem solving skills, manages and maintains training materials, and may perform on-site education presentations on business processes in an effort to integrate operational standards.
Prepares and delivers presentations regarding industry compliance
Job Duties:
Assess prioritization of initiatives and activities to improve effectiveness, and development of Agency, directorate, and portfolio mission-essential tasks (METs).
Monitor ongoing requirements documentation efforts across the DoD (via the Knowledge Management Decision Support (KM/DS)) ensuring RD's interests are incorporated into relevant requirements documents.
Prepare staff and publish all Requirements management meeting documents and minutes.
Requirements:
Education (Degree)/Experience: Bachelor's degree with 5 - 19 years of experience; or Associate degree with 8-19 years of experience
Clearance: Active Secret, TS/SCI Eligible
