METER DISCONNECTION PERSONNEL
 
Roles & Responsibilities
Disconnect water meters in accordance with the established procedures and guidelines.
Ensure compliance with policies and legal requirements regarding water meter disconnections.
Accurately record and maintain documentation related to water meter disconnections, including disconnection dates, reasons, and any other relevant information.
Communicate with customers, and property owners regarding water disconnections, explain the reason, and provide necessary information and instructions.
Identify and report any issues or problems encountered during the disconnections process, such as damaged equipment or potential safety hazards.
adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while performing disconnection tasks to ensure personal safety and prevent any damage or accidents.
Enter disconnection-related data into systems or databases accurately and in a timely manner
Collaborate with other water personnel, including meter readers, customer services representatives, and supervisors, to coordinate disconnection activities and ensure smooth operations.
Provide professional and courteous customer service, answering customer inquiries, addressing concerns, and providing guidance on payment and reconnection processes.
Qualifications/Knowledge/Skills/Experience
To perform this job successfully, an individual must possess knowledge of a wide range of qualitative and/or quantitative methods for the development and management of major administrative programs, demonstrated analytical ability, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
