Job Description
operating and maintaining industrial furnaces to melt raw materials, ensuring proper temperature control, material composition, and quality standards while adhering to safety protocols, often within a manufacturing setting,
key responsibilities may include charging furnaces, monitoring melt processes, sampling molten metal for analysis, and performing routine maintenance on melting equipment.
Safely operate various types of melting furnaces (induction, electric arc, gas-fired) to melt raw materials according to specified parameters.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 5 year(s) of working experience is required.
Candidates must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Others or similar fields.
Safely transfer molten metal from the furnace to molds or ladles, ensuring proper flow and casting quality.
Additional Information:
Regularly sample molten metal to analyze chemical composition and ensure compliance with quality standards.
