These efforts support ongoing quality initiatives, and are an essential part of providing safe and evidence-based care to our patients, as well as meeting the requirements of regulatory and accrediting entities. Responsibilities Reviews abstracted data with Quality Analysts to identify and correct any errors in data elements abstracted from the patient electronic medical records. Identifies Quality Analysts who require additional training and oversight based on patterns of errors or longer than expected abstraction times. Maintains communication with the Quality Audit Supervisor and Quality Educators to ensure training materials are up to date and easy to use.
