Managing and coordinating long-distance teamwork is not an easy process. Unfortunately, many companies must close down their operation permanently and leave many workers unemployed.
Fortunately, with a small setback, however, our company has been able to maintain our existence and continue to provide excellent services to our clients in the US without compromising.
We are expanding our business to reply to the need for committed services that are demanding the US medical industry.
It is essential and crucial that our company recruits only exceptional team members who:
have at least one year of experience working as a medical biller/collector for a US-based company
speak, read, and write English fluently to communicate with team members and clients effectively
can take responsibility and take charge of given projects with little or no supervision
have the right attitude with the good principle of loyalty, honesty, remorse, and respect for one another
have the capability of learning and inquiring new skills to produce high-quality services
have typing skills of at least 45 wpm with the computer literacy
have at least a BS degree or equivalent in any major to show a level of obtained education
can work at home and/or at the office as required from 6:00 am to 3:00 pm (Philippine's time)
are willing to work at US-business standard time as periodically or as required
know basic Microsoft Office, Words and Excel are helpful; or are willing to learn
Tasks include:
entering patients'/clients' information into computer demographic and patient profiling system
checking patients' eligibility with medical insurances and contracted payers
inspecting billing codes to apply appropriately based on SOAP notes to create claims in the system
submitting claims and encounter data to appropriate contracted payers promptly
following up with phone calls, send emails, and necessary collection methods to get the claims paid
generating variety of reports periodically for client's, management, and team's meetings
communicating with team members and clients via Skype, email, or available communication system
