Medical Billing Specialist / Medical Coder
 
Work hand-in-hand with Medical professionals to get important documents processed and make sure patients get the best care possible. Candidates are expected to know how to read patient's medical charts as well as know how to categorize the correct diagnoses and procedures according to a national classification system.
 
Job Responsibilities:
Reviewing Documentation when creating and submitting third party claims.
Following up of outstanding Claims, denials and appeals. 
Understanding of different payer guidelines in regards to reimbursement, coding and covered/billable services.
Qualifications:
3 years of healthcare experience
1-year billing experience
Excellent verbal and written English Communication Skills
Previous customer service experience is an advantage
Ability to Multi-task 
Able to do Inbound Calls
Able to do Outbound Calls for Callbacks
Fast learner & highly trainable with good analytical skills
Team player and able to work with less supervision
Knowledge using Microsoft Excel Files
Good problem solver & a Positive attitude
Willing to work on a graveyard shift, weekends & holidays
Must be willing to work graveyard shifts, weekends and holidays
Well-organized, Responsible and Initiative
Independent with positive work ethics and passion to succeed
Willing to start immediately
