The position requires someone who can be the liaison of the company in coordinating with media and managing media relationships. Someone who can handle media planning and media buying is also required for the position. The Media Relations Officer must not limit him/herself on a specific task but must also with closely with its team members in managing PR plans, budgeting, meeting the objectives and etc. He/she must maintain and manage good connections not limited to media organizations, hence to all groups that can help J&T Express' brand awareness and business opportunities. This includes stakeholders, business communities, key opinion leaders, government organizations and etc. Act as liaison between J&T Express and with the media and stakeholders Regularly check for and respond promptly to all media communications Communicate well with team members from across different media organization Establish and nurture good relationship with media, stakeholders, influencer and key opinion leader, both local and national network Must have a strong network with tri-media: Broadcast, Print, Radio Research, learn, and maintain knowledge that can help J&T Express gain more partnerships Handle media buying and media plan together with the team Bring an understanding of media management and relationship marketing to the planning process Contribute with PR plans and strategies of the team Handle media relation initiatives for J&T Express, including press conferences, round table discussions, and etc. Handle press release seeding for J&T Express Create monthly post-event reports in every PR and media relationship activities of the team Establish and nurture good relationship with media, stakeholders, influencer and key opinion leaders Maintain a database of media, influencers and key opinion leaders Business trip to guide/help region branding team's work Information monitoring of companies in the same industry Check region's work, to find and follow up to resolve the issue which may damage of our brand Must be knowledgeable and equipped on media coordination during crisis situation EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE College graduate with a degree on Advertising, Journalism or Public Relation and must have a min of 3 years experience as Media relations officer.
