WSO Engineer - Reliability, Predictive and Planning Maintenance
Reporting to: WSO Officer; Reliability, Predictive and Planning Maintenance

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Conceptualize and propose projects for process improvement, energy efficiency and development of LMTP and/or PWTP
2. Attend regularly in coordination meetings during project implementation
3. Create progress report of on-going project to monitor status of activities
4. Monitor and make necessary purchase requisitions and follow-up s for calibrations of plant equipment and instruments that are calibrated externally
5. Monitor and make necessary job requests and follow-ups to Automation and Instrumentation and/or Integrated Meter Management for calibrations of plant equipment and instruments that are calibrated internally
6. Monitor and make necessary job requests and follow-ups to Preventive and Corrective Maintenance for repair and PM of plant equipment
7. Strategize Manpower Management
8. Creation and review of CSA for General Equipment
9. Purchase of repair, calibration and acquisition of tools and spare parts needed by Treatment Plant Maintenance
10. Oversees/ monitors and makes necessary spare parts, materials, equipment and tools purchase requisition
11. Ensure purchase requisitions are compliant to ISO 9001,14001, 50001 and OHSAS 18001
12. Maintenance Budget Preparation (CAPEX, OPEX, Power and Fuel Management)
13. Plan in-house rehabilitation works and monitor contracted works related to electrical, instrumentation and control systems of plant, building and grounds
14. Prepares Maintenance Order (MO) and confirms use or installation of materials in SAP.
15. Monitors monthly budget allocation and consumption including monitoring of material deliveries.
16. Act as Pollution Control Officer
17. Initiation of Reliability Centered Maintenance
18. Identification of maintenance strategies that should be implemented on all facility assets
19. Identification of maintenance strategies to optimize and maintain plant functionality using various techniques
20. Documentation of equipment criticality analysis
21. Documentation failure modes & effect analysis
22. Administration different Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) softwares
23. Ensure compliance of equipment to Maynilad Standard and applicable International Standards like IEEE, NETA, ANSI, ASME, OSH, etc.
24. Ensure designs, workmanships and installations of contractors are compliant to Philippine Electrical Code, National Building Code of the Philippines, Fire Code of the Philippines, National Plumbing Code of the Philippines and other codes that may be enforced to Treatment Plants
25. Create Fishbone Analysis or Cause and Effect Mapping for major trouble to prevent such problem from recurring
26. Collects and provides useful statistics for the upgrade/ improvement of preventive maintenance and repair activities.
27. Leads in using technology such as thermography, vibration analysis, oil analysis, ultrasonic detection, etc. to monitor and determine equipment conditions.
28. Determines severity and nature of equipment problems based on instrument results
29. Documentation of equipment trends and history
30. Contribution in establishing Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
31. Development of programs, modules facility and materials for training of technicians and operators
32. Oversees and monitors implementation of safety program of the unit.
33. Collects and provides useful statistics for the upgrade/ improvement of preventive maintenance and repair activities.
34. Prepares and submits necessary reports which may be required by the Unit Head from time to time.
35. Implements Integrated Management System's programs, activities, procedures and policies
36. Does other related tasks as may be assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
Graduate of mechanical or electrical engineering course
Preferably a Licensed Engineer
Preferably with at least one to two years of experience in water treatment plant operation or any related field
