Job Description
Project Management: Develop mechanical project plans, specifications, and designs. Coordinate with stakeholders to define project requirements. Provide technical expertise and support throughout the project lifecycle. Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with mechanical codes and standards.
Construction Management: Oversee mechanical installations, equipment, and systems during construction. Review mechanical drawings, specifications, and procedures. Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards. Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors. Conduct inspections, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems. Troubleshoot mechanical issues and provide technical guidance.
Commissioning Management: Develop commissioning plans and procedures for mechanical systems. Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure seamless integration. Conduct functional testing and verification of mechanical equipment and systems. Resolve commissioning issues and ensure proper documentation.
Operation: Provide technical support for mechanical systems during operation. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance tasks. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot mechanical faults. Implement safety measures and ensure compliance with operational standards. Collaborate with other departments to optimize mechanical system efficiency.
 
Minimum of 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in the Oil and Gas sector.
Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles, equipment selection, and material specifications.
Expertise in rotating equipment, static equipment, HVAC systems, and piping design.
Experience in leading mechanical engineering teams and overseeing project execution.
Proficiency in relevant software and tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and CAESAR II.
Understanding of preventive and corrective maintenance strategies for mechanical systems.
Ability to perform root cause analysis and develop effective solutions.
Familiarity with shutdown planning and execution involving mechanical systems.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Effective communication and leadership abilities.
