In charge of conceptualizing planning and organizing mechanical
system works to meet schedule and time lines as specified in the
project schedule.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Conceptualizes/designs electro mechanical system as required;
Plans and organizes mechanical works to meet schedule and time
lines as required in the project schedule;
Evaluates progress accomplishments and prepares progress reports as required; Materials cost control, quality control and productivity.
Coordinates, maintains and controls project material cost, quality and productivity of mechanical works;
Monitors progress of accomplishment and issuance of owner supplied materials;
Provides work direction to MEP staff including supervision of mechanical design, estimating and costing;
Attends pre bid meetings with clients/owners/sub contractors;
Attends meetings concerning electro mechanical issues;
Coordinates design and estimate requirements with subcontractors and consultants;
Conducts technical negotiations with clients/owners/sub contractors;
Conducts site inspections to check and monitor mechanical
Perform other tasks that maybe assigned from time to time.
Education: Must be licensed Mechanical Engineer.
Experience: With minimum 5 years related work experience in construction industry, with experience in estimating, bidding, review of construction plans and specifications, must have experience in coordination with M&E trades.
