Position Summary Global Business Services (GBS) within the Abbott Rapid Diagnostics Division(ARDx) has a global accountability to deliver an exceptional customer experience and create business value through compliance, standardization and data analytics. As part of Global Business Services (GBS), the Global Master Data team are responsible to optimize the management of ARDx Data Assets and drive global business processes leveraging best practices, innovative thinking and technology to deliver high quality service to our customers. The Master Data Associate is responsible for executing day to day operations including the creation and maintenance of customer, vendor and pricing master data in accordance with established process. This role also handles service enquiries from internal customers related to these data objects. Responsibilities and Duties Handle customer maintenance requests in Winshuttle in accordance with global SOP including duplicate checking and denied party screening Maintain vendor data in SAP in accordance with Master Data Process including duplicate checking and denied party screening Maintain pricing in SAP Ensure the relevant information has been provided and validated prior to execution of request including any approvals Works closely with other functions (customer service, marketing, sales, finance, supply chain, etc.) to resolve questions. Elevates workflow issues when necessary to Master Data Specialist and/or Supervisor. Review and respond to emails, maintain shared Master Data mailbox Work within timelines to meet agreed upon targets and KPIs. Have general process knowledge for Material. Maintain basic knowledge of Abbott systems including SAP, Winshuttle, Agile, Metro, Salesforce and SharePoint. Key Position Competenciesand Behaviors Functional / Technical skills: Basic understanding of SAP modules in Customer & Vendor Data Management Communicates Effectively: Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills with peers, internal customers & leaders to ensure timely resolution of issues Customer Focus: Maintain a thorough understanding of customer requirements and SLAs to be able to execute requests daily Global Mindset: Assists with establishing a global network of process users. Helps identify synergies across business unit requests and projects. Time Management: Able to manage daily workload in line with SLA Requirements Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/work experience is required 1-2 years' experience within a similar role desirable and have an ERP system experience. Experience with SAP is a distinct advantage including basic understanding of SAP modules in Customer, pricing & Vendor Data Management Fluency in business English, both verbal and written Ability to work on own initiative, motivated, self-starter and Team player. Desire to acquire further knowledge and to understand the business.
