Department Digital Marketing Employee Type Probationary The Marketing Technologist (Sr. Specialist) shall serve as the Digital Transformation Office's expert resource on streamlining, automating & improving the effectiveness of marketing efforts by staying ahead of trends, identifying and implementing the best marketing technology solutions into different areas of our business (e.g. such as customer relationship management, email marketing, content creation, social media marketing and the like). This role will be responsible for identifying the best martech software and other technology solutions, implementing them into the business units' existing processes and technology stacks and training business unit team members on how to use the new technology solutions. This position will be working closely across the different Business Units to ensure digital strategies, tactics & methods are aligned with the latest best practices of relevant martech solutions. WHAT IS THE JOB LIKE End-to-End MarTech Management & Support Work Closely With Teams To Teach The Concepts & Guide The Application Of Martech Solutions & Their Best Practices In The Following Areas Discovery & Insights: stay updated on emerging marketing technologies, recommend innovative solutions Strategy & Planning: develop forward-thinking marketing technology strategies aligned with business unit overall marketing objectives and goals Implementation: collaborate with cross-functional teams to set up & launch martech tools, provide training and support on best practices to use & leverage these tools; automate and streamline marketing processes, such as email campaigns, lead nurturing, customer segmentation, and reporting; continuously optimize marketing operations for efficiency and effectiveness. Measurement: goals & metrics setting, reporting & evaluation of martech tools Organizational & Hiring Support Support Business Units in the creation & development of digital marketing teams with Marketing Technologist or similar functions: Recommendations on Org/Team Structures Provide guidance on Job Descriptions & Ideal Candidate Profiles Conduct Technical Interviews of candidates Vendor & Tool Selection Management Support vendor & tool selection efforts to ensure Business Units are exposed to the best options and follow the right processes in evaluating and choosing the most suitable one. Research on the best options Development of the brief, evaluation tools, etc. Implementation of the pitches Vendor/tool evaluation and selection Thought Leadership & Capability Building Act as subject matter expert and consultant in MarTech best practices, trends, latest innovations, etc. from a corporate level and across BUs. Understand organization and business needs to identify key opportunities to develop capabilities Develop a learning plan to upskill the relevant teams on the use of martech tools Provide or facilitate learning sessions & communications on the vertical Maintain knowledge of latest updates & trends and share with relevant teams WHO ARE YOU Proven work experience as a Marketing Technologist or similar role with at least 3 years of experience in the vertical Approximately 8 years of working experience Experience in developing and implementing MarTech strategies & solutions Experience in teaching, mentoring and/or coaching others on the use of MarTech tools Solid background in customer acquisition & retention strategies Technical acumen and familiarity with various marketing technologies, especially CRM and marketing automation tools & systems (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, MoEngage, Segment, etc.) Experience in working with Generative AI is not a must, but preferred Knowledge of agile marketing methods and best practices An ability to manage marketing projects end-to-end independently Adaptable and able to create support for effective campaigns despite restrictions in resources Strong communication skills both internally (BUs, top management, etc.) and externally (agencies & tool vendors) Data-driven and Customer-Centric attitude Bachelor's degree Capable of working under pressure and multitasking Experience in related industries such as banking, real estate, FMCG and/or retail is not a must, but preferred The Gokongwei Group is one of the Philippines' most significant and diversified conglomerates.
