The Marketing and Communications Officer will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive marketing initiatives, manage content creation and distribution, and maintain a consistent brand voice across multiple channels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute marketing and communication strategies to support the company's overall goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with the Sales & Marketing Team to create compelling content for various channels, including website, blog, social media, email marketing, and thought leadership pieces.
- Manage and maintain the company's website, ensuring content is up to date, user-friendly, and optimized for search engines.
- Plan and coordinate marketing campaigns and initiatives, including product launches, events, webinars, and digital advertising.
- Create and manage social media accounts, including content creation, scheduling, community management, and performance tracking.
- Develop and maintain relationships with media outlets, industry influencers, and relevant partners for PR and promotional opportunities.
- Produce marketing collateral, including brochures, case studies, white papers, presentations, and sales materials.
- Coordinate and support the organization of trade shows, conferences, and other industry events.
- Monitor and analyze marketing and communication efforts, track key metrics, and prepare reports to measure campaign performance and ROI.
- Collaborate with the Sales & Marketing Team to develop sales enablement materials and support lead generation efforts.
- Ensure consistent brand messaging and visual identity across all marketing and communication channels.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in IT marketing and communication.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience (2-4 years) in marketing and communications, preferably in the IT industry.
- Strong understanding of the IT industry, including technology solutions, software development, etc.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to simplify complex technical concepts.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media management, content management systems, and email marketing software.
- Familiarity with SEO principles and best practices to optimize website content and increase organic visibility.
- Experience in managing website content using CMS platforms such as WordPress or Drupal.
- Knowledge of graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to track and analyze marketing metrics and provide data-driven insights.
