Our Marketing Analyst works closely with the Head of Marketing Operations to execute the analytics strategy; managing complex data projects by ingesting new data sources to our data lake, cleansing, blending and normalizing this data, building new analytics dashboards and managing/enhancing our marketing databases.
As a Marketing Analyst, you will:
Support the Head of Marketing Operations to develop the analytics team, operating model and strategy
Support Head of Marketing Operations to engage stakeholders across the business and develop an analytically inquisitive culture
Collect data through a variety of sources, cleanse and join this data together to create a view of the "single truth"
Automate data collection, joining, cleansing and insight generation into repeatable workflows
Relentlessly question data integrity and quality and make recommendations for data model improvements
Deliver high quality, often complex analytics to non-technical stakeholders through dashboards, presentations and "on the ground" support
Maintain and improve current dashboards by adding in new data, improving visualisations and improving user interfaces allowing users to make decisions better, faster and smarter
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field e.g. Business, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Operational Research, Statistics
2 years+ experience practising advanced analytics and data, ideally in large corporate environments
Experience delivering analytics in a subscription-based business
Experience delivering marketing analytics in an account-based marketing environment
Strong SQL skills across any database environment (e.g. SQL Server / My SQL / Oracle)
Strong understanding of relational data infrastructures, and some knowledge of "big data" infrastructures
Proven experience working with a wide variety of data sources and blending these together to develop insights, analytics and dashboards
Experience in data visualization tools (e.g. PowerBI)
Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
Experience in a marketing analytics role is highly desirable
Experience with Microsoft data tools - Azure, Data Factory, DataBricks
Experience working with Alteryx Designer
Experience working with open source tools such as R and Python
Can work remotely Mon-Fri on a UK shift (4pm-1am)
Must have a stable internet connection with speed of at least 25mbps (Fiber Connection)
