The Market and Valuation Risk Management (MVRM) group specifically deals with complex and structured trades across different asset classes to ensure all aspects of the trades are captured correctly within the risk and valuation systems, accurately reflecting the complete terms of the executed legal documentation. The review is a crucial control mechanism for exotic derivative trades within Corporate Investment Bank. Valuation Control is a specialist group within MVRM that manages a wide range of relevant risk and implementation topics to ensure integrity and control over all aspects of the valuation of the Bank's trading portfolios. What we'll offer you Competitive Salary Attractive Retirement Benefit Medical and Life Insurance upon employment 20 days Annual Vacation Leaves Your key responsibilities Support the team from a process and technology perspective, and improve the overall landscape Demonstrate detailed understanding of the Credit Derivatives Structured products as well as Trade Services and Financial Services processes that support the various Exotic desks globally Perform full document review against Models and Trade Capture system, initial investigations of breaks, determining whether the trades should be amended in risk model or booking and allocate to owner Work closely with stakeholders to identify the root cause of breaks, and to implement process improvements to eliminate them Challenge inefficient or poorly controlled trade booking practices Your skills and experience Bachelor's Degree in either Math, Statistics, Accountancy, Financial Engineering, Finance or equivalent, while further professional qualification or study .e.g. CIMA, CPA, CFA, FRM, or Master's Degree will be an advantage Solid knowledge in financial markets products (Credit, Rates, FX, Equities, and Derivatives), as well as understanding of trading strategies, market dynamics and regulatory environment is preferred Solid background in structured complex products like Credit Derivatives, and ability to deal with mathematical risk models, market valuations and review of legal documentation is preferred Good communication skills and the ability to work in a multi-cultural setting with senior stakeholders across locations and a strong passion to perform in a dynamic fast-paced environment How we'll support you Training and development to help you excel in your career Coaching and support from experts in your team A culture of continuous learning to aid progression About us and our teams is the leading German bank with strong European roots and a global network.
