Summary:
The Manager, Talent is responsible for leading broad-based employee learning and development across the organization. This includes new employee orientation, career development, and leadership and management development. The Manager will be part of the Human Resources Management Team and will work cross-functionally to understand the business climate and learning deliver corresponding development programs in a multitude of learning formats.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Work closely with T&D Leadership team and/or Sr Manager of TD to support, manage, and execute the T&D global strategies, projects, and activities across the APAC region.
Collaborate and communicate with Sr. Manager of TD to coordinate, manage, and provide project and/or team updates on a consistent basis.
Collaborate with HR and business leaders to support learning and development needs across the organization.
Consistently deliver and design (as needed) core development programs including New Employee Orientation, pipeline development programs, intact team sessions, and the Dexcom global leadership curriculum.
Provide consultation and advisement regarding development/learning resources to HR partners and other stakeholders in the APAC region.
Collaborate with HR partners in Dexcom's APAC region field offices to ensure consistent delivery of core development programs, while collaborating on local adaptations as needed.
Lead the talent development team by providing day-to-day direction, coaching, and feedback to ensure optimal performa
Talent & Diversity goals and objectives for the Talent Development team (APAC region). * Deliver and/or facilitate and/or design (as needed) innovative and engaging learning experiences through a variety of formats including in-person, social learning, micro learning, etc.
Support and use the Dexcom Learning Center in the delivery of training courses to allowing employees to register for courses, track registration and complete, and allow for survey(s) to be distributed to track learning effectiveness (using Kirkpatrick Model).
Ensure team know how to conduct and complete learning activities in the LMS as facilitators.
Evaluate, select, and manage third-party vendors as needed.
Work with Sr. Manager of TD to share information and or provide approval related to the use of the APAC talent development budget.
Perform administrative management
as needed to support the APAC TD team members (i.e., timecard approvals, approval workflows, etc...)
Required Qualifications:
8-10 years' experience delivering learning and development programs in a corporate environment and either directly or indirectly managing a team/project team/business area.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated track record of influencing organizational change.
Propensity toward curiosity and personal learning.
Ability to use and apply global mindset lens to problem-solving, decision making, and application/execution.
Strong project management skills including tracking and managing resources, budget, and vendors.

Bachelor's degree required.

Functional Description
Leads a portfolio of global business-critical projects that advance organization effectiveness. Manages relationships HRBPs and Center of Expertise peers (e.g. Talent Development, Talent Management, Total Rewards, and HR Operations) in the development of solutions through organizational development, cultural, and process-oriented perspectives that meet ongoing and future business needs. Manages and executes Change Management strategies and programs to enable supporting new operating models. Owns organization design, change, and culture models that are executed by HRBPs. Serves as subject matter expert (SME) across multiple functions and geographies. Leads as a strategic partner with Corporate Communications to ensure culture and employee experience initiatives align with legacy framework, employee engagement efforts, and key work processes. Provides leadership and business knowledge in understanding and taking action on employee engagement surveys to positively impact retention, employee engagement and overall business results. Ensures solutions through organizational development and cultural and process-oriented perspectives.
