Functional Description
Leads process improvement initiatives through the disciplined use of measurements, accountability, analysis and discussion of process alternatives in order to arrive at best practices. Plans, manages, and controls the activities of a team that provides operational support for a business segment, group or team. Brings expertise or identifies subject matter experts in support of multi-functional efforts in process improvement, data capture and analysis, infrastructure support, tool ownership and compliance with procedures, etc. Advises business groups by providing strategic direction to initiative prioritization, integration and resource application. Ensures that policies and procedures align with corporate vision. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel ensuring efficient operation of the function.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Develop Business Process Improvement Framework for the site and implement across all operational teams.
Responsible for development and implementation of lean six sigma training programs and delivery across operations.
Develop, build and implement aligned reporting structure on all SLAs and delivery functions.
Overall accountability for ensuring process specific reporting structures are in place (excluding financial reporting).
Responsible for Business Process Improvement project tracking and reporting
Work with operations teams to drive process improvements that quantitatively and qualitatively improve costs, quality and service.
Train and educate the organization. Implement continuous improvement methodologies including, but not limited to Six Sigma, 5S, Lean Principles and others.
Responsible for implementing quality auditing framework to operations in line with Dexcom Quality policy.
Responsible for supporting the improvement of current BCP framework and implementing BCM programs and initiatives in the center
Responsible for driving assigned projects focused on improving overall site performance.
Coordinate and lead cross- functional teams to transition processes, services and/or functions into the GBS organization.
Develop detailed implementation plans based on standard GBS implementation approach
Ensure adherence to offshoring framework, global processes, governance and business case
Develop reports, analytics, and assessment tools to evaluate performance and improvement opportunities.
Preferred Qualifications
Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, preferably certified.
Knowledgeable on MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Access is a plus. Certification (i.e. PMP, CPM, Six Sigma, Prince II) is a plus
Preferably with prior experience (5 years minimum) in a Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) environment doing process migrations.
Required Qualifications
University degree in IT/Engineering/Manufacturing/Management or any other related field of study
Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, preferably certified.
Preferably with prior experience (5 years minimum) in a Business Process Outsourcing (BPO)environment doing process migrations.
Proven experience with business process and data analysis, methodology development and project management
Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
Excellent listening, interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
Excellent presentation and facilitation skills.
Logical and efficient, with keen attention to detail.
Highly self-motivated and directed that would require minimum supervision.
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under pressure.
Strong customer service orientation.
Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment and stakeholder management.
Extensive practical knowledge of project/program management tools and approach such as Waterfall, Agile and Scrum.
Ability to perform other functions as required in the nature and scope of position.

Follows processes and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
Erroneous decisions or failure to achieve results will add to costs and may impact the short-term goals of the organization.
Management
Manages the coordination of department/functional activities with responsibility for results, methods and staffing.
In some instances may be responsible for a functional area or contracted / outsourced employees or matrixed reports.
People management responsibilities include hiring / terminations, performance reviews, career development coaching and compensation decisions.
Experience and Education
Typically requires a Bachelors degree with 8-12 years of industry experience.
2-5 years of previous management or lead experience.
