POSITION OBJECTIVE:
To apply principles of accounting to analyze financial information and prepare financial reports by compiling information, preparing profit & loss statements and utilizing appropriate accounting control procedures.
POSITION DUTIES:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• The accurate completion, commercial analysis and timely delivery of Philippine Sales financial & management reporting.
• Compile and analyze financial information and document business transactions as may be necessary
• Prepare and ensure completion of regular reports, budgets, commentaries and financial statements for Sales entities
• Completion of the month end closing process for Sales entities including analysis of PNL expenditure lines and perform management reports
• Prepare on timely basis the GL Account reconciliation, prepares necessary accounting adjustments and communicate fully on any deviations or areas of risk to the Finance & Commercial Manager
• Analyse, calculate and allocate inter-departmental charges for various expenditures
• Support several projects thru aiding the management with appropriate financial information and analysis that can guide in decision-making
• Support and assist regular and annual department reporting requirements such as audit schedules, annual tax filings, Group statutory reporting, Intercompany reconciliation, internal control checklist completion and others
• Liaising with managerial staff and other colleagues from different business entities
• Perform other tasks that may be assigned by management from time to time.
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
• Minimum of 4- 5 years commercial experience gained from business industries like FMCG, Consumer packaging, Wholesale and distribution, and/or Manufacturing.
• Good analytical ability including translating analysis to action
• High level of communication and personal integrity
• High level of interpersonal skills in order to be able to work effectively and positively with personnel at all levels in the organization
• Strong personal accountability for driving and delivering on targets and deadlines
