Role Overview
The Management Accountant will provide key management accounting support to all financial processes, reporting and business modelling. This is an exciting opportunity for a finance professional to gain experience working in a high-profile digital business that requires strong financial support in order to meet their goals and targets.

Main Duties / Key Responsibilities
Timely submission of weekly and monthly metrics to key stakeholders in the relevant regions for distribution to the FT Board Directors and a wider company-based audience.
Developing weekly and monthly reports to be leveraged by key stakeholders.
Understanding of and responding to business queries arising from financial reporting, client invoicing, sales commission and expense management.
Support in preparing timely and accurate quarterly forecasts for revenue and costs.
Timely and accurate month end processing and reporting of revenues & costs (including T&E, marketing, commission and consolidated payroll files) and variance analysis as required by key stakeholders.
Assist in the rework and reevaluation of the revenue accrual and deferral process through working with the technology and operations teams.
Preparation of aggregator fee files & invoices for channels and timely response to any follow-up queries.
Monthly headcount & payroll loads, checks & amendments.
Managing invoicing with Nikkei Asia of employee and associated costs for shared resources.
Preparation of weekly/monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliations and submission of assurance data, working closely with central finance as well as the auditors during the annual audit.
Perform ad hoc analysis and reporting as required.
Restructuring and reconciling of key revenue recognition platforms across multiple currencies.
Attend and present financial data to key stakeholders in monthly and quarterly reporting meetings.
Ensure accuracy of cyclical forecasts with attention to detail specifically in regards to resource cost analysis.
Prepare templates used in the quarterly forecasting process and drafting quarterly forecast figures as required
Supporting the Fixed Assets reporting, including the Capex monthly report and depreciation analysis.
Ensure costs are coded to the correct budgets
Tracking costs and assisting the SBA with preparing reports to uphold budgetary ownership within the business
Establish and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders
Contribution of ideas to help streamline our processes and develop our reporting to the business
Qualifications / Person Specification
Required / Essential
Qualified / Part-qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA/CPA or equivalent)
Minimum 2 years' relevant experience in a finance environment
Intermediate to Advanced skills in MS Excel
Confident and clear communicator with a variety of audiences and fluent in English (spoken and written)
Strong analytical skills, comfortable with large financial data sets
Desirable
Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Financial Management, or other relevant subject
Experience with Google Suite, Oracle Accounts, and Essbase
Technical experience with or the ability to adapt quickly to newly implemented general ledger systems as well as other supporting systems
