We are looking for an E-Commerce Quality Assurance Specialist who will do the inspection and audit of product pages created by our Merchandising Team.
We believe in quality over quantity and providing the best possible user experience for our customers, and that's why creating detailed and informative product pages is our top priority.
The job does not involve creating product pages. Your job is to ensure that the information from the official documents provided by our suppliers is listed correctly in our e-commerce store in a clean and organized way. That includes pictures, videos, descriptions, specifications, manuals, linking accessories, and more.
We're only looking for full-time long-term, ongoing cooperation.
You choose your own hours. We believe that our team members perform best when they are given flexibility.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• The QA Specialist does not create a product page but audits and scores them based on quality guidelines
• Ensures that the product pages created by Merchandising team meets the quality standards set by the company
• Does research, learn, and find the information about the products we sell on the manufacturer websites
• Makes sure that prices, SKUs, and UPC barcodes are correct
• Checks tags and ensure they are correct according to the guidelines
• Checks the uploaded images and videos from the manufacturer
• Ensures that the descriptions are from the manufacturer websites, brochures, product guides, and installation manuals, and not copied from competitor sites
• Ensures that product pages are written in a customer-friendly way and formats are based on our set guidelines.
• Compares our listings with competitors’ listings, and makes sure our product pages are the most informative and the best on the internet
• Responsible for approving and rejecting tags. Tags are used for categorizing and filtering products.
• Gives feedback and coaching to E-commerce Merchandiser / Product Listers for the areas that need improvement
Skills and Experience Required:
• Minimum of 1 year experience in Shopify
• Minimum of 1 year product listing and product upload experience in an E-commerce company
• Minimum of 1 year experience in QA either in a BPO company or any other company that holds the QA position
• HTML knowledge is an advantage
• Advanced research skills and categorizing products
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent English in writing is needed to understand the products and to communicate with the team
