Job Description
Works closely with Manager.
Plan out appropriate routes keeping time and distance logistics in mind.
Review and post shipment orders as required.
Review vehicle condition.
Closely monitor fuel usage versus mileage count.
Check drivers’ status reports on a daily basis.
Compile data reports on shipment status and mobility.
Ensure service requests are completed within designated time line.
Recommends and/or implements new scheduling system which reduces road hours for drivers and has improved driver safety record.
Set-up the pickup and delivery schedules and handled route drivers.
Assist in scheduling dispatch of drivers.
Responsible for safe and on time delivery standards.
Routing store deliveries in cost efficient manner.
Hands-on experience in scheduling, coordinating, and dispatching trucks for deliveries
Directed and dispatched drivers to designated locations for load pickup and delivery.
Online filing of pick up and return request for Container Vans.
Flexibility is required to meet the needs of the business as working hours vary, with long hours and possibly shifts including weekends common.
Doing administrative work as needed.
Submits daily accomplishment report.
Preferably female, willing to work on night shift schedule
