Business Context and Main Purpose of the Job:
Support development and execution of the logistics excellence program across South East Asia & Australia. Responsible for warehouse transformation & design, technology development and network optimization.
Main Accountabilities
Develop & drive the warehouse capability & automation roadmap for the cluster, including developing new technologies, identifying suppliers to partner with, and landing solutions with the market & 3PL teams
Support warehouse design & process flows for new DCs and to support new business requirements
Develop transport technologies including fleet redesigns and fuel economy (EV truck) pilots
Ensure safety & security logistics compliance for the cluster, developing actions to close gaps
Manage capital projects - controlling budget, generating capital plans to support growth & cost agenda, monitoring spend & delivery timelines
Run warehouse benchmarking program for the cluster and identify & monitor continuous improvement projects
Relevant experience required:
Essential:
Masters / Degree in Engineering / Logistics / Supply Chain Management or equivalent with at least 2 years experience in warehousing or transportation operations preferred
Experience in general engineering and/or warehouse design
Fully proficient in WH design and optimization process from feasibility to execution across the life cycle of DC projects. Should have full understanding of right tools, techniques and processes to design warehouses for future fit
Understanding of new trends in warehousing related to MHEs, WMSs, WH Technologies is compulsory
Knowledge in Autocad and simulation tools (Flexim, Class, etc)
