The role:
The Learning Management System Administrator Associate position is highly collaborative with other members of the Learning and Organizational Development team. They will work closely with LMS admins and the L&OD team to deploy learning programs to internal and external users. This position will support the LMS Administrator with the operational performance of the LMS and be responsible for uploading content, creating and managing courses, setting up learning paths, assigning learning to users, and troubleshooting issues that arise.
Responsibilities:
Communications: * Work with LMS Admin to manage the lifecycle of learning programs to keep programs up-to-date and retire content/courses/programs that are no longer relevant.
Functional/Technical Expertise:
Maintain learning content in the LMS by creating and uploading courses
Updating course tagging and settings
Encode course assessment in LMS
Help manage the ticketing system to keep track of all open issues and generate periodic reports.
Create Course Enrollments 6. Manage users in LMS by updating and uploading external users
Improve Learner Experience (LX): * Follow the existing checklist and make sure the courses are setup appropriately - Course QA Checklist.
Create job aids or other instructional guides.
Maintain standard operating procedures and best practices for all LMS userws
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree (in Technology, Computer Science, Training, Business Management, Human Resources, Organization Development, Communication) or equivalent work experience
1+ year experience with Learning Management Systems or other technology platforms
Familiarity working with reporting systems
Basic skills in Microsoft Office applications (MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Excel)
Good technical troubleshooting skills for Tier 1 support
Experience in training, curriculum design, and training evaluation is a plus
Can create Job-aids and documentation processes using provided templates is a plus
Competencies:
Good oral and written communication skills
Strong customer service attitude
Good problem-solving skills
Ability to manage confidential data securely and discretely
Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with people from diverse backgrounds
Organizational and planning skills with attention to detail and follow-through
Ability to prioritize and proactively problem solve in a fast-paced environment
