This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can manage end-to-end data operations, and is committed to maintaining audit-ready, compliant, and secure data systems.Responsibilities:LIMS Administration
Serve as the LIMS superuser and primary system administrator.
Oversee LIMS configuration, workflows, data validation rules, and user permissions.
Ensure all data is accurate, validated, secure, and audit-ready at all times.
Database Engineering & Management
Build, design, and manage new and existing company databases.
Maintain database performance, indexing, optimization, and backup routines.
Implement data governance and security best practices.
Integrations & System Connectivity
Lead upcoming integrations including:
Chemistry/Hematology analyzers
Billing platforms
HR systems
EHR/EMR connections
Lab reporting and documentation systems
Build and maintain ETL pipelines feeding the LIMS, databases, and BI tools.
Support troubleshooting and enhancement of current integrations.
Project Leadership
Lead project implementation phases end-to-end: planning, design, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful delivery of system enhancements.
Work independently with minimal supervision, showing initiative and adaptability.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Experience as a LIMS Administrator, Database Engineer, Data Analyst/Engineer, or similar role.
Strong understanding of database design, SQL, indexing, and performance optimization.
Experience building or managing ETL processes and data pipelines.
Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to new tools and projects.
Basic knowledge of HL7 (for future healthcare integrations).
Familiarity with AWS services, cloud storage solutions, or cloud database environments.
Experience with laboratory workflows, medical systems, EHRs, or diagnostic analyzer integrations.
Minimum Qualification Standards:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in system or data integration, preferably in a healthcare or enterprise environment.
Proven experience with cloud systems, APIs, and automation platforms.
Hands-on experience working with databases (SQL, MySQL) and integration protocols (e.g., HL7/FHIR).
Experience with HIPAA or other data privacy and security standards is highly preferred.
