The APAC L&D Team is looking for an Instructional Design Manager with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement. This multifaceted role requires expertise in adult learning and instructional design theory and application. This role will be involved in all aspects of crafting learning solutions, including program design, content creation, and evaluation while managing a team of highly motivated Instructional Designers.
What You'll Do
Manage and develop a team of highly motivated Instructional Designers;
Set the tone for the learning experience through an outstanding curriculum management strategy;
Implement modifications of training materials, to ensure continuous improvement of the curricula;
Conduct training needs analysis and follow-through with industry benchmark learning solutions;
Identify the target audience, learning objectives, training materials needed, and assessments required to support the learner's proficiency in the performance objectives;
Build training design consistent with our global design principles and practices;
Establish rollout strategy/training plan and manage projects from end-to-end;
Measure the efficiency of the training by reviewing learner performance data, and address gaps as needed;
Ensure training materials are of the highest quality; are up to date and are supporting the achievement of business objectives
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in relevant learning program;
7+ years of work experience with at least 5 years in Learning Design (some experience leading a team of Instructional Designers);
Advanced skills in instructional writing; content authoring and rapid design tools (e.g. Screenflow, Camptasia, Articulate Storyline, and/ or Adobe Captivate);
Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under multiple deadlines and changing priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
Formal qualifications in informative/instructional design and curriculum management;
Experience working in an omnichannel customer service environment (face-to-face, virtual and digital; working with both in-house and outsourcing support models);
Experience in UX and visual/graphic design.
